
Dr. Narendra Hadpawat
Dr. Narendra K. Hadpawat was born in Pratapgarh, Rajasthan. He earned his MBBS degree from RNT Medical College in Udaipur Rajasthan. Following his post-graduate training at Udaipur General Hospital, Dr. Hadpawat moved to the United Kingdom in 1973, working as a senior house physician in the Department of Medicine at Singleton Hospital in Swansea,South Wales. In 1975, he moved to the United States where he completed his medical Residency and Fellowship in cardiovascular disease at Brookdale Hospital central affiliated with S.U.N.Y Downstate Medical Center in
Brooklyn, New York.
Dr. Hadpawat started his cardiology practice in Lawrence, NY in 1981. Which is currently known as Lawrence CV Associates. He served as an attending physician of cardiovascular disease at several hospitals including South Nassau Community Hospital and LIJ-Northshore in Long Island. He also served as the Director of Cardiology and Chairman of the Department of Medicine at Peninsula Hospital Center in Far Rockaway, New York. Dr. Hadpawat received multiple awards for his excellence in teaching medicine and cardiology to medial students and resident physicians . Most recently, he has served as the Executive Director of the Eternal Heart Care Center in Jaipur Rajasthan, which is recognized as Most Modern and the best Heart Hospital in Rajasthan.
Dr. Hadpawat’s professional activities are well recognized and he has received several awards including the Excellence in Cardiovascular Science from the American Heart Association of Long Island in 2003. He has been very active in the Long Island community and has served as the President for numerous organizations including IALI, RAJMAAI, American Heart Association of Long Island, and RANA. He is also the Founder and the First President of AAPI-QLI (1995-1997).
Dr. Hadpawat is actively involved in improving the healthcare of his native state of Rajasthan, where he was instrumental in creating a new facility for the District Hospital in his hometown of Pratapgarh, Raj. Every year he goes to India and provides free health care services in his home town Pratapgarh.
Narendra and his wife, Hansa have six grandchildren and threechildren; Dr. Anita Hadpawat- Lee, Dr. Neil Hadpawat, Deepak Hadpawat.
Due to his dedication in improving healthcare and excellence in community service, AAPI-QLI bestows on him this Lifetime Service Award.
