72nd Independence Day Celebration In Newyork City
Executive Committee Members and Board of Trustees of AAPI-QLI along with a large
number of general members, celebrated 72nd Independence Day of India with participation in the Parade and Float. Everyone had a great time and it was a memorable event.

by Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, India.
The State of Uttar Pradesh (biggest state in India with population of 200 million) celebrated its first Pravasiya Bharatiya Divas (English: Non-Resident Indian Day) on January 4, 2016 in Agra, the city of Taj Mahal, India. More then 250 NRIs from 30 countries attended the function.
Dr Kumar was honored by Hon. Chief Minister of UP, Mr. Akhilesh Yadav for his contributions in the field of Pediatrics and Emergency Medicine in USA. It is a matter of great pride and pleasure for me and the state to bestow” Uttar Pradesh Apravasi Bharatiya Ratna” Award to Dr Kumar for his work. “His activities have brought glory to India and Uttar Pradesh” says Hon. CM Mr. Akhilesh Yadav.
